CANNABIS UP CLOSE

Microscopic Marvels

As the first offering from Fargotstein Studio in the retail space, I offer you my personal pet-project from the past several months: The Microscopic Marvels 42024 Cannabis THC Trichomes Revealed 13-Month Calendar, ready for your 4/20 celebration!

Every fan of cannabis and 420 will appreciate this calendar, showing the best part of the plant in all its glory.

Running from a very convenient April 1st, 2024-to-April 30th, 2025 this calendar will inspire you every day with its visions of cannabis that were heretofore undiscovered.

Never before have images like these been made available in a so widely usable format. With two bonus pages of information regarding cannabis trichomes and the process used to make the photographs in the calendar, as well as an important notes and numbers page, each month has its main image, as well as a zoomed in area of the image underlaying the calendar grid that has been muted in color to provide a more easily written upon surface for notes and important dates.

The beautiful images in this calendar were all created with a photomicroscope, and are composed of multiple separate pictures that are 'focus-stacked' to make the full image, because the focal lengths at microscopic levels are too short to get an entirely focused image in one shot. Most of the images are composed of between 17 and 30 separate shots.

Doc Fargotstein has been a photographer for over 40 years, having his first darkroom in his grand-parents basement when he was just 13 years old. Residing in Denver since childhood, he now does photo shoots with everything from microscopic denizens-to-wide-angle landscapes, with a share of modeling and portraits in the middle to round out the portfolio.

About

MEET THE
PHOTOGRAPHER

Take a 13-Month journey through the lens of photographer Mark 'Doc' Fargotstein, whose use of Focus-Stacking techniques bring images to life that would have never been seen by the human eye.
Fantastic landscapes are revealed, bringing the viewer down into a fantasy-land reminiscent of Alice's Adventures Through a Microscopic Looking-glass.
Viewers will find themselves staring at the near-impossible images that give new perspectives to one of the world's most favored plant species.
